Daniels Fish & Chips has supported The Fishermen's Mission for a few years now, but earlier this year Daniel decided that he wanted to raise the bar in his efforts to raise even more money for the charity.
The Fishermen's Mission supports fishermen from all over the UK that risk their lives every day to catch the fish that we all love to enjoy as a meal.
It was decided that it would be only be right for us to also risk our lives whilst raising as much money as possible, so it was decided that jumping out of a plane was the only way forward. Daniel circulated the idea to all of the members of the team at all five of the shops, but there was only one person crazy enough to even entertain the idea of freefalling from 10,000ft at speeds approaching 120 mph. This was Jess from the Littlemoor shop.
So Daniel and Jess will be jumping out of a plane on Sunday 25th July 2010 taking off from Dunkeswell Air Centre near Honiton in Devon.
We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for The Fishermen's Mission so would like all of our customers to please donate as much as you possibly can spare. You can do this by going into any of the shops and putting your donation into the charity boxes there or the easiest way to donate is to visit our JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/danielsfishandchips where you can donate without even leaving your house.
